Drop One Hundred Forty-seven
Titus 2:3 - 5
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.” (NASB1995).
Oh, there is a such a joy in spending time with family – especially grandchildren. Playing Hide-n-Seek every day for a week, watching them play video games, sharing my violin, and teaching them the game I play on my iPad. I took the youngest to a park and library while the others were at school. Coffee shops, ordering in and playing with kitties were other highlights of the week. Watching the youngest perform in her first dance recital was such a delight. So thankful for the time with them – and making pancakes every morning for the grands. Also enjoyed the adult time. As much as I enjoyed the time there, it is good to be home. Yeah, I do sneeze a bit more here, but I did miss my hubby, our pets, and our home.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of life and family. Thank You for the joy of children and grandchildren. Thank You for the hope we have in You and the many blessings You bestow upon us each day. Protect us from loving all creation more than You. May we choose and bring honor and glory to You throughout each day. We pray for another great awakening and great revival in our families and around the world.
In the Name of Jesus we pray,
AMEN
