Drop One Hundred Twenty-one
Psalms 100
“Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations” (NASB1995).
As I write this, it is the beginning of Thanksgiving week 2025. This will post the day after Thanksgiving Day, a holiday celebrated here in the USA. The first Thanksgiving in the colonies was celebrated after a year of hardship. Not everything went as hoped or expected. But those that survived praised the LORD anyway. They recognized His provision, His faithfulness, and their reliance on Him. Holiday celebrations can be a mixed bag of emotions. Whether this Thanksgiving was everything you hoped it would be or not, I pray you see God’s provision and express your thankfulness and gratefulness to Him. While we celebrate Thanksgiving Day annually, every day presents multiple opportunities to give thanks.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for faithfully seeking us. Thank You for choosing us for the Holy Spirit to indwell. May we be sensitive to His promptings to make us more like Jesus each day. Thank You for loving and forgiving us so we can love and forgive others.
In the Name of Jesus we pray,
AMEN
