Drop One Hundred One

Proverbs 14:23

“In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty” (NASB1995).

I have been considering becoming a vender for local farmers markets in this area. Debating on what crafts I can make to sell. Should I make cookies and cheesecakes? I could sell jar salad. Oh, wait – I need liability insurance? I need to have the health department assess my kitchen? The list goes on and on. Crazy enough, between my cluttered thoughts and my clutter closets creativity has been lacking. Now my house is nearly in order again. The next farmers market is less than one weeks away. I will fill out my application, however, food will have to wait until the next one. One more crazy thought – why don’t I promote my craft? I can sell my book, Peace within a Broken Heart. I will print a few of the poems, frame, and sell them. Today is the posting of my 101st blog and I am finally preparing to promote my book in public: face-to-face. Now, where is that application? Please pray for me and I will pray for you.

Heavenly Father,

It is amazing how often we can revisit the same ideas. Thank You for your patience and for being ever present, even when our actions and inactions earn an eyeroll or two. May we seek and fulfill the purpose You have for each of us. May we grow to be more like You every day through time well spent in your Word.

In the Name of Jesus we pray,

AMEN
